Summer Memories

We did a sunset cruise and then stayed out to watch the full moon rise last week and it was phenomenal 🚤🌊🌅💫🌕 The water was as still as I’ve ever seen it, and as soon as that full blue super moon rose above the dam, the sky lit up so bright! We honestly just all sat still for so long in admiration. Me and my girl went for a swim under the moon, and then we cruised back slowly under the stars. It was beautiful. These are the summer memories I live for, these are the days 🌊🌊🌊💙

And then camping the next night just because we wanted to watch the full moon rise over our other favorite mountain lake, way up on that bluff where you can see for miles upon miles. Grateful my hubby can take his morning work meetings remotely from anywhere, grateful to have our campervan to easily grab a campsite in the middle of the week to watch the full moon rise, and grateful my kiddos are always up for an adventure! 💗 The sunset was beautiful, as was the moon from up there. And, when we noticed our dear friends’ sailboat on the lake and they came by to say hi, of course we went for another full moon swim out to see them 🌊☺️ Then, a campfire with friends and songs and stories under the stars. Yup, last week was amazing! And I’m still riding the high. Time in nature, time under the moon’s energy with my bare feet in the dirt or in the lake is where I feel most at home 💗 Even after living in a RV for the past 12.5 years, camping is our favorite! But now it’s vanlife that gets us out and I love it!! 🚐💫🌊🌕💙✌🏽
